Roland Butcher BA
CTO, Managing Director and Founder
Roland Butcher graduated with a degree in graphic design in 1984 from Curtin University. He is the Founder of Live and has been a Director since the company was formed in April 1996. He has over 20 years experience as a director of photography, working closely with highly qualified stills photographers. This first hand experience with professional photography and methodologies and equipment enabled Roland to appreciate the problems faced by photographers in acquiring publishing quality imagery. This understanding of a huge unmet need in the market led to the realisation of the LiveLens technology. Roland has operated his own communications design consultancy since 1991, producing world class design communications collateral for leading Western Australian businesses. His many achievements have earned him recognition as one of Australia's leading design consultants.
